I might be ten days late, but I’m pretty glad I gave myself enough time to think about what I want this next year to look like. I have a feeling 2016 is going to be my best year yet!
My word(s) for this year is: let go. I’ve already been practicing this in some aspects in 2015. I simplified my closet early last year and have continued to do so each season and it is so good for me. I want to let go of material possessions even more this next year and extend my closet clean-out mentality to other sections of my life. I also want to let go of negative feelings, especially worry and grudges, and trust that everything will work out.
Budget so that I can spend money to things that mean something to me. Spend less on clothes and more on experiences (trips, workout classes).
Continue aggressively paying my loans and start a 401k.
Do some sort of exercise every weekend. Even if it’s cold out or rainy. Do this by signing up for Classpass and convincing Robert to also work out every weekend.
Give this blog a little more attention. Consider a redesign and post more often (not holding myself to any schedule just yet).
Give generously of myself. Donate my time and resources.
Go to spinning at least twice (I bought a five-class Groupon three months ago).
Go to Pilates 3 times.
Plan for Hawaii and have a relaxing vacation.
Have so much fun in Nashville.
Roughly map out other vacations for this year.
Buy frames to hang up art in my room.
